Do you love a good workout?
We’ve caught the fitness bug here at View Estate Agents…something to do with too many snacks making their way into the office over the last few weeks (Picnics and Double Deckers tend to hang around the waistline somewhat-who knew?) Lucky for us, SE1 has a crazy amount of gyms and fitness centres around and we have been investigating! Whatever your budget, whatever your style, in London Bridge, there really is a place suitable for everyone-so there really is no excuse! Get out there and get your sweat on!
Where to go:
Fitness4less Southwark £19.99 p/m rolling contract-unlimited, all classes, £60 signup fee
If you’re looking for something a little less intense, then this gym pretty much ticks all the boxes. A nice budget-friendly gym, with great facilities and surprisingly large range of classes.
Soho Gym Borough– £69.99 p/m unlimited peak access
“dynamic, smart-looking, bright and fun, with the latest and best kit, and a real sense of community.” Has absolutely everything you would want from a gym, and membership gets you into any gym in the group!
The Bridge-Annual contract of £22 p/m
This place is run by a charity aimed at improving women’s health and well-being creating safe spaces for women. The gym and classes is for women only and all profits made from membership are reinvested into the charity.
Fitness First– £52.00 p/m
Commuting to London Bridge? This place is perfect. Actually in the station itself, you could be lifting weights within 5 minutes of your train pulling into the platform in the morning.
F45 Training– Usually individually priced classes…Current offer of 7 days for £7
If you’re looking for somewhere to really make you feel the burn-you can’t get much hotter than F45. Intense team workout sessions, motivate you to push yourself to your limits (One of their workouts claims to make you “Feel like you have worked all day on the docks in just 45 minutes”) Just take a look at their Instagram for some impressive before and after shots.
The Castle Centre-£000.000000000 p/m
One of the best kept secrets of Southwark! If you’re a Southwark resident you get to swim and gym at all council managed gyms for free! With pool and gym access, as well as discounted classes and court hire-it’s really an offer not to be sniffed at!
